Privacy policy

This policy describes builds that include Privacy choices. Earlier offline versions do not include Analytics, crash reporting or notifications.

Playing the game

Oddly Fits is a puzzle game. No account is needed. Every puzzle can be played offline. Progress, puzzle arrangements, solving times and preferences are stored on your device. Android may back up or transfer that local data according to your device settings.

Your choices

Oddly Fits is designed for general casual players, including teens and adults, and is not directed at children. We do not ask for your date of birth or an age range. Gameplay measurement follows regional consent requirements and your settings. Google's User Messaging Platform checks whether a consent message is required and records your choice. Gameplay measurement waits for that check, and remains off if your consent is missing or refused. Where consent is not required by the configured regional rules, gameplay measurement is enabled unless you turn it off. Previous opt-outs are preserved. Crash reports and notifications are separate choices, off until you enable them. Choosing not to share does not restrict puzzles or rewards.

Gameplay usage

When gameplay measurement is enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase processes app openings, screen visits, tutorial steps, puzzle starts and resumes, completions, retries, hints, help use, invalid moves and time spent actively playing. Events include the game mode, puzzle identifier, content version and relevant puzzle element. Google also processes app instance identifiers, app and device information and approximate geographic information derived from your network connection. We use this to understand puzzle difficulty, navigation, return visits and areas that need improvement. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not completely anonymous. The consent service processes technical information such as your network address, app and device information, and consent choices to determine and remember applicable privacy choices.

Crash reports

If you enable crash reports, Firebase Crashlytics processes error traces, crash identifiers and technical information such as app version, operating system, device model, memory and storage state. This helps us investigate failures. We do not add player names, email addresses or gameplay screenshots to reports.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging uses an installation identifier and technical delivery information to deliver puzzle news and updates. Android may ask for notification permission separately. You can stop notifications here or in Android Settings. Unregistering from the messaging service can require an internet connection. With usage sharing enabled, Analytics can also measure notification interactions.

Information we do not request

The app does not request your name, email address, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location or advertising identifier. We do not record your screen or complete finger movements. There are no advertising, purchase, account or social features in this release. We do not sell personal information or use it for personalised advertising.

Providers and retention

Google processes enabled-service data on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. For detailed provider practices, see Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information. See also how Google uses information from apps.

Our release configuration uses a two-month retention period for detailed Analytics event and user data, with retention resets on new activity disabled. Standard aggregated reports may remain longer; deletion follows Google's processing schedule. Firebase starts removing crash data and associated identifiers after 90 days. Messaging installation identifiers remain until deletion is requested; Firebase says removal from live and backup systems can take up to 180 days after that request.

Changing your mind and deletion

Use Settings > Privacy choices to disable gameplay usage or review regional consent. Turning usage sharing off stops future events and resets the local Analytics identifier and queued Analytics data. This does not automatically erase data already received by Google. Turn crash reporting off to stop future uploads and discard pending reports. Disable notifications to request unregistration. You can continue playing offline.

For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact dev@selverservices.com. We do not associate gameplay with your email address, so we may need the app's Analytics reference to locate usage data. You can view that reference in Privacy choices before resetting it. We will explain what can be located and deleted; legal requirements and provider retention rules may apply. Do not include unnecessary personal details.

Device data and support

Clear app storage in Android Settings to erase local progress and preferences. Uninstalling also removes local app data, though a device backup may restore it. Manage platform backups separately. Oddly Fits does not provide cloud saves.

If you email support, we receive your address and the information you include. We use it to answer and investigate your request. You may request deletion of that correspondence. We will update this policy when our practices change.
